Scholars will be selected based on the following criteria:

1. You attend an Austin, TX area college or university
   
2. Your program of study is environmental science/studies or equivalent
3. Meritorious academic achievement
   
4. You have interest in the recycling field
5. You are available to attend NRC's annual members meeting on Monday, August 27 at the Hilton Austin to be recognized for your achievements
   
   

Applications must be submitted by Friday, August 3. Winners will be announced on Friday, August 17.
