Our webinar series is intended to get participants thinking and talking about new strategies for achieving our environmental goals.
“Advancing Sustainable Materials Management: Facts and Figures 2013” Assessing Trends in Materials Generation, Recycling, and Disposal in the United States
Through a discussion of the recently released Characterization Report, participants in this webinar will hear about the newly expanded and improved measurement efforts by the EPA to facilitate the move towards more sustainable materials management (SMM). Previously called the MSW Characterization Report, this report provided national solid waste, recycling, generation, and disposal numbers. The new report now includes data on construction and demolition generation and more information on source reduction and economic analysis.
