Background: The NRC hosted a series of regional workshops in 2018-2019 focused on local and regional recycling market development. Presentations and conversations helped participants within the targeted regions to reimagine and reanimate their efforts to attract and develop new opportunities for recycled commodities. In 2019, the NRC hosted workshops in Albuquerque, NM on June 11 and New Orleans, LA on Aug 26, is currently hosting San Antonio, TX on Oct 7 with STAR along with plans for Chula Vista, CA with CRRA on Nov 13.
