Background: In 2018-19, the NRC hosted a series of regional workshops focused on local and regional recycling market development. Presentations and conversations helped participants within the targeted regions to reimagine and reanimate their efforts to attract and develop new opportunities for recycled commodities. In 2019, the NRC has hosted workshops in Albuquerque, NM on June 11, New Orleans, LA on Aug 26, and San Antonio, TX on Oct 7.
