Sustainability Project Manager, Orlando Solid Waste Division
Evan Novell is a Sustainability Project Manager with the City of Orlando’s Division of Solid Waste Management. Evan has an academic background in sustainability and has been recognized as a 40-under 40 industry leader by Waste360. His efforts with the City are focused primarily on Commercial and Multifamily recycling availability and contamination as well as ongoing education and research campaigns with a variety of demographics both within the City and throughout the Central Florida region. Having been a part of the team that developed, iterated upon, and established Orlando’s Chapter 28 mandatory recycling ordinance over the past 4 years, Evan is now working towards bringing effective and affordable recycling to commercial and multifamily properties throughout the City.
