Next Steps on the Road to Zero Wasting in California
This webinar builds on the successful Global Recycling Council (GRC) workshops held in December 2016 which identified the opportunities and barriers on the road to Zero Wasting in California. During this webinar we will review workshop findings, describe the landfill reduction achieved in California since 1990, identify communities that have achieved high levels of landfill reduction, and discuss the strategies and tactics that have contributed to high levels of landfill reduction.
Based on the findings during this webinar, we will develop the crowd-sourced draft plan for Zero Wasting in California which will be presented at the GRC webinar planned for June 15, 2017.
