Ms. Sanborn has been a leader in the materials management industry for 32 years based in Sacramento California. She has worked as a consultant, regulator, and advocate founding both the California Product Stewardship Council and the National Stewardship Action Council where she has had immense success at passing groundbreaking EPR/Circular Economy legislation for mercury thermostats, carpet, paint, pharmaceuticals & sharps, truth in labeling bills SB 343 (Allen – recycling chasing arrows) & AB 818 (Bloom – ‘flushable’ wipes) in 2021, and packaging (SB 54).
