Welcome to the NRC Congress and NYSAR3 35th Annual Conference & Trade Show!
New this year, we are partnering with the New York State Association for Reduction, Recycling, Reuse, NYSAR3, to provide an experience that is over-filled with tools, information and robust content! The NRC is hosting the National Recycling Congress (Pre-Conference Day) and we are excited and invigorated to be working alongside them for another great event! We’ve been planning for months, designed by professionals for professionals of the 3R industry, sponsored by leading companies taking the charge for sustainable development in all aspects.
- Participate in the NRC National Recycling Congress on Tuesday, November 19th
- Learn what is trending now in the Circular Economy world, Sustainable Materials Management and the 3R industry
- Engage with our Exhibitors who are here for your interest and education and ready to provide you with the newest products and updates for three (3) days
- Join us for our Annual Awards Luncheon honoring recipients of the Recycling Leadership Award and the NY Recycles Poster Contest! Listen to hear who our 2024 ReUse Grant Winners are!
- Participate in the NYSAR3 Annual Meeting
- Network among professionals either personally or through the Whova App
Our sessions are engaging, relevant and trending. The Exhibitor Hall will be open for all 3 days of this event and is filled with selected vendors who support the 3R industry and offer specialized knowledge in their field. Evening entertainment is provided for an enjoyable atmosphere and networking. Create a meet-up and meet other like-minded individuals. Relax on the peaceful shores of Otsego Lake in a refined hotel with unparalleled hospitality. Sit back and enjoy the breathtaking views of the countryside. It’s hard to believe its work when it all comes together!

Low-waste Event
We are pleased to make this conference as low-waste as possible by providing:
- Paper recycling bins
- Food composting bins
- No plastic silverware
- No plastic cups
- A limited amount of paper agendas and those in large-print will be available at the Registration Table (please inquire)
- Reusable name badges (return at the end of the conference)
We invite you to participate by:
- Bringing your own water bottle or coffee mug for fill-up
- Bring your own tote or bag to pickup promo items in the Exhibitor Hall (often times a vendor or two will provide them as well)
- Bring your own washable cloth napkins to quickly wipe up spills, dry out your coffee mug to put back in your bag, or use when you go to dinner instead.
- When dining out, order a smaller meal/portions to reduce food waste, or bring your own reusable take-home container to the restaurant. Ask if the restaurant is opposed to sharing meals.
- Taking pics with your phone of displays, business cards, brochures, and more.
- What other ideas do you have? Post them on the Whova Community Board.
