Senior Advisor, Busch Systems
Alec Cooley has over 30 years of experience in the recycling field, most recently as a senior advisor with Busch Systems. Alec began his career as an operations manager at the Arcata Community Recycling Center in Northern California, followed by nearly ten years as the solid waste reduction manager for Humboldt State University. He’s subsequently worked as a program manager for the National Recycling Coalition and director of recycling programs with the national office of Keep America Beautiful. Alec is a certified TRUE Advisor and board member of the National Recycling Coalition. He has previously served on the boards of the California Resource Recovery Association and Carolina Recycling Association.
