Executive Director, Recycle Hawaii
Born and raised in rural Pennsylvania, Kristine is a 40-year resident of Hawaii who lives in close proximity to her children and five grandchildren. Her lifetime of environmental and social justice activism began at the age of 13 and continues to this day. As the executive director of Recycle Hawaii, Kristine builds on the organization’s 30-year legacy as a statewide leader in waste reduction initiatives by collaborating with stakeholders engaged in Zero Waste activism at every possible level, from the grassroots to the global arena.
