The Sustainable Resource Management (SRM) certification program was designed by industry experts to provide information on the policies, programs and infrastructure that support Zero Waste. Through SRM strategies, individuals, communities and businesses can learn how to reduce wasted resources, avoid product and transportation related greenhouse gas emissions and work to create a green economy.

The training covers a broad range of topics including: solid waste, recycling, reuse, composting and Zero Waste. This course is ideal for anyone working in these fields: City public works, Recyclers, Haulers, Consultants, Green Teams, Facilities managers.

The certification program includes:
-Sixteen (16) online self-paced courses totally 30 hours of learning content

-Twelve (12) 1-hour live, interactive webcasts led by industry experts. Weds 9-10am PST Feb 13-May 8th (no class 4/3)
– Student discussion forum
– Supplemental resource list and reading materials

Earn 3.0 CEUs from San Jose State University and Certificate. Accredited by the National Standards Board of the National Recycling Coalition.
