The National Recycling Coalition (NRC) and the NRC Campus Council are excited to partner with the College & University Recycling Coalition (CURC) to organize 2022 NRC Congress programming focused on waste prevention in higher education. The collaboration brings five hours of workshop programming on Day 2, November 10, from 12 – 5 pm EST to serve as both a collegiate track of sessions open to all NRC Congress attendees, and a standalone workshop available at a separate lower-cost registration of $30.

Student Opportunities

To encourage student participation, CURC and NRC are offering a Student Rate for attending the full, two-day Congress for $40. In addition, there will be a “Meet Your Intern” networking event held as part of the Congress in the Gathertown app. Registered students can bring their resumes to the virtual rooftop space to connect with prospective intern hosts.

About CURC

CURC is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating the exchange of technical knowledge and best practices among higher ed sustainability and facilities management professionals. This collaboration brings CURC back to its 1990’s roots when campus recycling managers gathered for education and networking at the annual NRC Congresses. What began as an NRC informal Caucus, evolved into an NRC Council, and in 2009 became an independent Coalition.
