A limited number of scholarships are being awarded to college and university students in the New Orleans area through the National Recycling Coalition. The deadline to apply is Monday, August 5th.
This year, in addition to $2,000 in financial aid, recipients will also benefit from networking events at the Resource Recycling Conference August 26-28 at the Sheraton New Orleans, as well as membership in the National Recycling Coalition.
Scholars will be selected based on the following criteria:
- Attend a New Orleans area college or university
- Academic and personal interest in the recycling field
- Meritorious academic achievement
- Available to attend Resource Recycling Conference Awards Ceremony Wednesday morning, August 28th
Applications must be submitted by Monday, August 5. Winners will be announced on Monday, August 12.
