Sarah Peery is the legislative assistant for Senator Rob Portman (R-OH) handling energy, environment, and agriculture issues. In her more than five years with Senator Portman, she has worked on legislation related to recycling, energy efficiency, forest conservation, improving the health of the Great Lakes, and protecting and restoring our national parks. Sarah is originally from Ohio and graduated from Lehigh University with a BA and MA in political science, and was a member of Lehigh’s women’s basketball team.
